The Carebags® Story...

Carebags® was started by two young Mums in BC in the early 1990's. With 5 kids under the age of 5 between them, they embarked on a homemade bag business to combat the wastefulness of plastic. 19 years later some of those original bags are still in use.

Made in Vancouver, Carebags® are strong & stretchy. They're super easy to care for and have hundreds of uses. Buy/Wash/Store produce in the bag. Use it to scrub those veggies clean. Keep it slightly damp to hydrate your greens. Separate dry goods like potatoes, apples, nuts and grains. Store them in a cool dry place.

Our bags are perfect for camping, travel, school, lunches, snacks, babies toys, nuts, bolts, odds and sods. Check the testimonials page for great ideas. Carebags® and our little sister Got it! reusables are multi-purpose, handy, funky & efficient.

Carebags® is truly Canadian. Operations are local. Our small footprint fosters economic growth, strengthens community, accountability and sustainable development. We do our very best to keep manufacture within a 2km range. Design, sewing, printing and supplies are sourced locally where possible.
